hello kiddies!!
sorry i've been absent for a while, i was (still am) on a very bad period - and all the girls here will know how we don't like to do ANYTHING while on a heavy period (which is why you may have seen me on here but i wasn't doing anything).
so i apologise for that
and to tell you, i won't be on here for awhile, i don't know when i'll be back BUT hopefully when i do drag my big behind back here, i'll have a scanner!! *fingers crossed* ... then again, everytime i have my fingers crossed something goes wrong, so i'm not gonna cross ma fingers. HAH-HA!! reverse pychology!! you won't get me this time!!

also, when i'm away, could someone be kind enough to answer these questions for me? - as i have an idea (and it'll stay that way till my questions are answered) of doing a Calender and offering any pics gremlins here might like as Prints, what you think?

okay, questions are - if there's some one on DA who like me, don't have a Subscription but has a Print account that people have bought from and can answer these i'd be thankful

(please bare in mind, that i HAVE read the FAQs but i still can't seem to understand them )
Q1= When it says Buy Print, does that mean you have to sell the original piece? (i think the answer to this one is NO as i think it would be difficult to sell multipul Prints if you'd already sold the original then again, i could be wrong )

Q2= How much do you have to pay to get your stuff Printed? or is it free? or does DA take the production costs out of any money that's made from selling the product first?

Q3= Could someone PLEASE explain to me how to use the Jpeg Templates DA provides for Calenders, Mugs, Mouse-mats etc.? as i've downloaded the templates but i don't understand how to use them ((why are the templates so bloody huge!!?) do you have to keep the pic in/on the red-line in the middle? what if i want my pic to go right up to the edge? (so there's no white/blank spaces on the final product?) and How do i do round corners? (as the Mouse-mat and Coasters have round corners, how do i do a pic that has round corners? (as the picture editing programs i have don't save anything that's rounded) or does DA round them automaticly?
also, why do you have to delete the Templates? can't i just stick my pic on the Template itself? (i REALLY don't understand what i'm suppose to be doing!!)

if anyone can decipher my ramblings and can provide answers, then i THANK YOU! VERY MUCH!!
(it's just a pity you can't do FanArt Calenders - DA says it's OKAY to put your FanArt up BUT you CANNOT sell it! - as i had ideas to do a Legacy of Kain and Hellsing ones *sniff* )

...got some bad news...alot of bad news

1)- those that remember me telling them about what happened to the harddrive in the computer i bought from my brother, will know that i had problems with it (mainly i couldn't use it and it would cost £700 to fix - money i don't have). Well, my brother (after me telling him what the computer repair man said) took the harddrive (after taking it out - WITHOUT TELLING ME - AND CONVENIANTLY FORGETTING that the computer was mine, I'D PAID FOR IT!) to one of his mate's (who he says is a computer wiz ) and i've been waiting for him to have a look at it and see if anything can be salvaged. He had a look (eventually) and said it was COMPLETELY SCREWED - EVERYTHING i had on there is GONE!! ...To try and save the harddrive (i could've made do with an extra one for more space) i told my brother to tell him to see if he can wipe the drive so i can use it. The guy tried, the drive was wiped clean and Windows files put on it so it could work.... but when they went to see if it would work in a computer, it failed... miseribly!!! When i eventually got the drive in my own hands (my brother not telling me he had brought it back - using it to prop up his PS2, collecting dust!), my brother said that it was now useless (because they couldn't get it to work in another computer) and i'd be better off trying to get a new one (where the hell am i gonna get the money for that!!? it took me along time to save up for a used one!!). But i said i'd try and see if it'll work in it's original housing...
So far, i have not tried putting it back...i did have hope that it'd work again....but now i'm not sure...

2)- i'm pevved off with my brother -althou i appretiate him taking MY drive (after i had to remind him!) to get looked at. That did NOT give him the right to TAKE the computer's monitor! That monitor is mine! i paid for it, fairly, from him! He just took it, while i ws standing there! And he had the cheek to say i already have two monitors and wouldn't need it!! (when in fact i would, if i get i new drive for the computer then i will need that monitor back - as it has diffrent plugs to the one i'm typing one now and my old original computer. So i will need that monitor!...

3)- again pev'd at my brother, he's always nasty to me and he want's to use my broadband! and i had to let him!! It's not fair!!

4)- i've broken the glass on my scanner. - i was giving it a wipe and had the guinnie pig on the floor, i didn't know she was behind me!! So when i take a step back and felt fur under my heel i immediatly jumpped forward and cracked the glass with my hand (didn't half hurt my hand). So me putting up pictures is F****d. (don't know where i'll get the money to buy a new scanner, as i'm in need of a printer as well - those that remember me telling them, that an ink cartridge had got stuck in the bottom half of my All-in-One print/scanner and i'd managed to get it out but had wreacked the ' plastic-wire-thingy' at the back that reads/controls...what ever it does to the cartridges, so that's knackered aswell...) Don't know when i'll be able to get it fixed (again - because i'd caused a crack before, but this time it's a hole!!) or buy a new one...

5)- to try and get around not being able to use my scanner, i was going to use the digicam that i used to take pics of lava vs the heavens and Bridget's lady of the lake, but now i can't find it!! i can't remember what i did with it!!

6)- i have SEVER ARTIST BLOCK! - yeah, i know i've told you i've had it numerious times before, but this one's really bad! (it's at the point where the thought of sleeping is more appealing then touching a pencil). And it's not even funny that i got it after i did my dad a birthday card. This isn't fair!!

as you can see, i've not been having a good time as of late.
so i'm now off to have a nosy at the work of the people i'm stalking (which will no doubt cheer me up ) with a terrifing grin on my face (blame 's work )

NOTE: 2 - i said my brother can BORROW MY monitor, so long as he covers it up when he's not using it.

NOTE: 3 - the broadband 'box' stays in my room, and my brother has to tell me if he's uploading anything while he buggers off out, otherwise i'll disconnect it. And he has to let me know when he's finished.

NOTE: 4 - to yes! the Angel of Destiny pics i said i'd done for you (based on some she asked for, some i made up and some from the story she did which she has removed from her gallery ) ARE FINISHED! there DONE, COMPLETED... but i don't know how i'm gonna get 'em up??

NOTE: 5 - to try and combat the phantom camera i thought about using my brother's computer (he originally had two, one of which i bought - then i had the problems with it (harddrive, no CD player)) ... then i remembered that this was a STUPID idea - ONE, because i was watching my brother when he was hooking it back up and it's password protected. TWO my scanner's naffed - so even if i could get the files on his computer i'd A) still won't be able to scan pics B) he'd notice the little Tray Icon pop up everytime he started the computer, so i'm buggered there.
